Something I like to do with my children is take time off from our regular school work to do a week of fun, seasonal activities. The start of the new school year is a great time to do a week of autumn activities and kick the new school year off with some fun! Let me show you some of the things we did during our week of autumn activities.

For our homeschool science we have been studying the stars! I love the stars! It is not unknown for us to bundle up and go outside late at night to watch the stars, especially when there is a special show on :) God really does the best fireworks shows!
Well, here it is folks! I have been leaving comments all over blog-land about this wonderful book I have been reviewing - Asia: It's People and History. Now, I can finally give you my full review :)
To start off with, I have a confession. I love geography and history! I don't remember being quite so found of these subjects in school, but then again, when I was in school, I was taught very little geography. I think my love for geography began when I was in Bible college. I spent a good part of my Bible college years learning about missions and even thought for awhile that God was going to send me overseas somewhere as a missionary. |
